Scholarship Programs

When to Apply:

High school students can apply between November 1 - April 30.

How to Qualify :

• Be a High School Senior

• Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) throughout high school.

• Have participated in community and volunteer activities and demonstrated leadership..

• Plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university in the United States..

• Demonstrate financial need throught personal and family income..

How to Apply:

Download the application from this website or obtain a copy at your high school Counselors office. Fill out the application in full and mail to the YES Fund Office. Applications will be accepted by mail only. Incomplete, emailed or faxed applications will not be accepted. All applications must be postmarked no later than April 30th.


Scholarship Terms:

• Scholarship award check(s) will be issued to each designated student, prior to their high school graduation.

• Recipient will inform the YES Fund Office as to which college or university the student will be attending.

• Scholarship award recipients have no obligation to the YES Fund.

• The YES Fund reserves the right to change the conditions and procedures of the Scholarship Program.

 
 Welcome to the Youth Education Scholarship Fund

The Youth Education Scholarship Fund ("YES" Fund), is a non-profit organization, established to provide financial support to deserving high school students in the form of college scholarships. Scholarships awarded are based on demonstrated financial need, community service and a minimum scholastis achievement of a 3.0 GPA. Yes Fund recipients must pursue a full-time course of study at an accredited college or university in the United States.

   

The "YES" Fund scholarship program is available to graduating high school seniors who have achieved and maintained an academic GPA of 3.0 or better and can demonstrate financial need. The program is supported in part by funds generated through the City Golf Championship Series, charity sporting events and other corporate and individual donors, who want to support and assist deserving young people facing the challenges of obtaining fuding for their college education. Scholarships are granted through a careful application review process by a volunteer Board of Directors, comprised of Educators and Business Leaders.

Our Board of Directors, made of Educators and Business Leaders, will review the applications and make a final selection. Applicants should be prepared to go through an interview process.

With the generous support of our sponsors, we hold several events throughout the year. Notable among these are the City Golf Championship Series, produced by DCI/DeSilva Communications, Inc. We encourage you to donate or get involved in sponsoring an event. These events provide your firm with the opportunity to help worthy students achieve their academic goals and dreams and get involved in your local community.
